BC Manager ("the app") helps an organizer run bachat committees (BC) and lets members track their membership, monthly payments, and payouts. This page explains what information the app collects and how it is used.
This information is used only to run the BC(s) you're part of: showing an organizer their members' payment status, and showing a member their own payment/payout history. We do not sell or share this data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.
An organizer can see the members and records of the BCs they run. A member can only see their own records — never another member's payments, payouts, or contact details. This is enforced at the database level, not just hidden in the app's screens.
Data is stored on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage). Photos you upload as payment proof are stored the same way and are only accessible to the organizer of that BC and the member who submitted them.
The app can prepare a WhatsApp message (with your BC details) for the organizer to send you — this opens WhatsApp with the message pre-filled and requires the organizer to tap Send themselves. The app does not send WhatsApp messages automatically or access your WhatsApp account.
Subscription payments (made by organizers only) are processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles that directly, on its own secure checkout page.
To request deletion of your account and associated records, contact the organizer who added you, or reach us at the contact below.
